Today we did the first day of SLJ, it was Amazing with Nano Girl. There was an experiment and it was so cool, first we have made a paper plane, hoop and a ring hoop, it was so Amazing. Here photo below hope you enjoy:)

Tree Adventure

Hi Bloggers,

On Friday, last week we went on a trip to Tree Adventure. It was Fantastic there were 6 courses and There was also a practice course. It was like training. The first one was a course one it was easy. Then there was course two. It was kinda hard. Also, at the end of each course there's a Zip line, then there was course 3 where it was getting complicated. Then I skipped course 4 and went to course 5. It was very scary and it's like 7 meters from the ground. I also did not do course 6 because it was way too hard, Here is an image down below. The Monarch Show

Today We had to do a writing about The Monarch Show.

Thursday 12 August 2021 

On Tuesday we were very lucky to attend a show called Monarch. The show was basically all about butterflies and some construction. First we went to the hall and sat down and waited for the other classes. We had the show at 2 Pm. When  the other students arrived they started the show. First they were doing their introduction and then they started to start the show. Then they were talking about how trees get cut down. They also had some really cool moves like standing still like a butterfly.Then they called up three people it was me Kennedy and Agnes. We asked some questions about the tunnel there building, It was awesome and fantastic.

The Silent Movie

Today we watched this movie that was silent. The actors name was Charlie Chaplin. He was the actor in the movie also he was the director, The movie was so cool, My favourite part from the trailer was when he was under the blanket near the girl, I kinda do like silent movies since it was so cool, Hope you enjoy. The Olympics 2020 Tokyo

Today we went to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics fan zone Trip. First we went we sat down and there was a Olympian, Her name was Debbie Tanner. She had 21 Gold Metals that is a huge number of goal metals. Her favourites of the Olympians was running,bicycling and swimming. It was so awesome. Then we had ask the Olympian questions. Then we started to do the actives such as balancing,basketball and much more. Me and my friends were all together and it was so huge. We went in a AT Bus Its so cool that it has led lights. 

My Holidays and Birthday.

During the holidays I got to celebrate my birthday on the 17th July. For my birthday I got a bmx bike, beanie and some new shoes and obviously a cake. Also a special thing was a butter chicken pie from Bake and Beans. The Butter Chicken Pie was as delicious as the cake. My birthday was awesome and I loved it. I had a black forest cake. Also lots of people wished me. 

I was having lots of sleep except on Mondays because I like to see the Garbage Truck. I like Garbage Trucks, they're cool and amazing.I will put a photo of the truck I don't want to show their faces for Safety Purposes. The Red one is for Waste and the Blue one is for Recycling Hope You Enjoy.

The Wonder Project (Final)

 Kia Ora Bloggers,

Today was the (Final Session). We did our final blast off today. First we went to Keith Hay Park, Next we got everything ready. My group was first. We always do safety first so we had to wear our safety glasses , We also had to wear a high vest. The blue high vest was meaning chef engineer. The pink one was meaning Safety officer. The last one was meaning the scientist. We went 25.3 meters long. Our one was not the furthest. It was so cool and so so complicated. We had three rockets at a time. Our Group was 2nd its better than nothing. Hope you guys enjoyed. 

 

The Wonder Project Blast Off!

 Hi Bloggers,

Today was the 6th Session. We did our second test launch. It was so fun and awesome. We had to measure the psi and the ml of the water. The first launch my group had 350 ml water and 60 psi. It went at middle height. On the last one we had 200 ml water and 40 psi. It went higher than the middle one. The maximum psi was 60 psi.There was no maximum for water. I think my friends group was the highest. Hope You Enjoyed,

The Wonder Project

Today was the 5th session. We learnt about a new word called stability. Stability means state of stable. Stable means to be like still. My group and i stared first to put the string around the bottle in like the middle of the bottle. Next we get a cardboard box and cut it out the shape the bottle is. After we grabbed a ruler and we balanced it. If it was not straight.You make it straight. Next we made a line to to our string and sellotaped around the string. At last we put the cardboard bottle under and see if we had pressure. By the way our group name is Team Wonder. The End. Hope you enjoyed.

Today was the 4th session. We learnt about how much weight it needs to fly straight. How far can it go if it dose not go far you could improve We made paper planes and if it was not good we said how it was not good. For example the wings weren't straight. The End Hope you enjoyed 

Auckland Zoo

 Friday 21th May 2021 The Zoo 

On Wednesday 19th May 2021 We went to the Auckland Zoo. When I entered the Zoo I was shocked and it was so awesome. I loved how the giraffe looked like Chad Wild Clay. I loved the giraffes. I loved the kiwis. I haven't seen kiwis in years. But sadly the tigers were dead. I got sad they said the tigers were dead. They were 17 years old when they sadly passed away.

Today we did the 3rd session. We learnt about how the bottle needs force and like how cars have fuel.It gives the rocket some force and thrust. Also it has gravity. it so awesome and fun. When it gets force it goes higher and it looks so cool. We will be working on rockets all term and we can test our own rockets with 1.5L Bottles. Here is a photo 

The Wonder Project

This week for The Wonder Project we locked at Health and Safety, Also we did a Test Launch with 1.5 L bottles. The max Psi is 60. The less water the higher it goes. We did 7 test launches. In the first launch there was 10 psi and 250 ml of water not enough thrust, Rocket did not launch. In the second one there was 30 psi and 250 ml of water. The rocket launched very high. The third one was 50 psi and 200 ml of water.We improved but it went lower than before. The fourth one was 60 psi 100 ml. it was better than before. The 5th  one was 60 psi and 700 ml water. It was a fail it was to heavy. The end hope you like it.  It was so cool and awesome . I think it was so fun. Here is a photo.
